Hearings resume with a COVID-19 focus
The Royal Commission has announced a public hearing on the impact of COVID-19 on people with disability. It will be held in Sydney during the week commencing 17 August and is the first since public events were placed on hold due to the pandemic. It follows the release of an issues paper on Emergency Planning and Response. Some engagement with the public is resuming online, with a meeting held with Victorian First Nations organisations earlier this month.
