Introduction to Investigations Workshop

This workshop is a part of the NDS Risk, Incidents and Complaints Management (RICM) Skilling the Sector project supporting individual, small and medium disability service providers.

This Introduction to Investigations webinar will cover topics including:

  • Why do we need to investigate?
  • When should we investigate?
  • Key investigations terminology and concepts and what they mean
  • Introduction of the Five Step investigations process
  • How investigations fit with organisation risk and quality processes
  • How to use the RICM Investigations resources

This workshop will be presented by Kristie Walker, an industry expert in conducting and training in the areas of workplace investigations, dispute resolution. Kristie is passionate about supporting others to develop customer focused well written investigation reports.

Kristie will be supported by Matthew Carey, a member of the NDS Lived Experience Network (LEN), whose lived experience and unique perspective will underscore the importance of continuous quality improvement within the sector.

Please note: This meeting will not be recorded and will have a maximum capacity of 300 attendees.
