NDS is alive to the very real problems and often concerning member accounts of the way the Agency is managing plan reviews for participants receiving SIL supports.

The issues relating to the lack of consultation, unilateral and inconsistent decision making, and downgrading of plan values are only mounting.

NDS would like to sincerely thank those members who provided some significant case studies recently. These were used in a briefing paper for Minister Reynolds, and State and Territory Disability Ministers to inform a series of meetings between NDS and the Ministers on the run up to the Disability Reform Ministers’ Meeting this week.
