AMES Australia is leading a program to promote and facilitate culturally inclusive workplaces. This includes the creation and rollout of online and face-to-face cultural competency training to employers in the Aged Care and Disability industries, funded by the Victorian Government.

Their training and resources are designed to augment your in-house learning and development and help your team identify ways to make your workplace culturally inclusive.

In this session, Patricia Salazar, Career Education Project Officer at AMES, will describe the online training on offerings and share best practices in cultural competency tailored specifically for the disability sector.

About AMES:

AMES Australia provides a comprehensive range of settlement services for refugees and migrants. These include on-arrival settlement support, English language and literacy training, vocational education and training, and employment services.
