The Tasmanian Government has issued a new Public Health Direction.

Under this direction, disability workers who are classified as critical, can now apply for a temporary exemption from quarantine.

A number of criteria apply.

The temporary exemption seeks to mitigate workforce shortages that may interrupt the delivery of essential support and care services.

NDS will provide any further information when it comes to hand.

NDS continues to engage heavily with governments and ministers across Australia to request urgent support, access to free rapid antigent tests, and pandemic leave.
