NDS has provided a comprehensive submission to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) regarding the 2020 Disability Employment Services (DES) Review. 

A number of recommendations have been made about the four key areas which examine the operations of the DES program under the 2018 contract. Additionally, NDS has also considered the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Australian economy and labour market.

The aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic will mean the DES program will be operating in the most challenging economic and labour market environment in decades. NDS's view is that the focus of the DES program, and its goals must be reconsidered in light of these extraordinary circumstances.
