This year's National Disability Services WA Lunch in Celebration of International Day of People with Disability is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever! With a focus on showcasing the culture and achievements of WA’s Indigenous community, this event will shine a light on the achievements of Aboriginal people with disability.Joshua Button, a young Broome author and artist, will be among the stallholders in the ever-popular Marketplace at the NDS WA Lunch in celebration of IDPWD.
A Walmajarri man who grew up in Broome, Joshua spent many weekends fishing and crabbing in the mangroves with his family. His passion for the saltwater country and for storytelling is expressed through his children’s books Joshua and the Two Crabs, Steve goes to Carnival and At The Zoo I see…
