WA Government gives NDIS transition a $5.5 million boost

Minister for Disability Services, the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC has announced anÂ additional $5.5 million funding to be spread over three initiatives.

The first isÂ $2 million to strengthen the capacity of Western Australian providers to comply with the requirements of the NDIS Commission. WA transitioned to the NDIS Commission on 1 December 2020 after a five-month deferral which allowed providers to focus on critical support issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.
