Linda Reynolds named new Minister for NDIS

Front row of a press conference

29/03/2021

Scott Morrison today announced the outcomes of a cabinet reshuffle, with Senator Linda Reynolds named incoming Minister for the NDIS.

NDS would like to acknowledge the achievements of Minister Stuart Robert, and congratulate him on his new role as Minister for Employment, Workforce, Skills, Small and Family Business.

We look forward to working with Senator Reynolds on the issues that continue to challenge the NDIS when she returns from medical leave in early April.

'You said, we heard' consultation reports

The NDIA has released reports on the consultations undertaken earlier this year - on Independent Assessment; Planning and Plan Flexibility; and Supporting Young Children. While these summarise the information received, the reports are not clear on how the proposals outlined in the consultation papers might be modified by the feedback.  NDS will continue to keep members informed of developments on Independent Assessments.
