The Commonwealth Government today unveiled a new skills investment program, JobTrainer.  The program will create up to 340,700 free or low cost training places, with a focus on training or re-skilling those looking for a job amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The courses are expected to be in high demand areas identified by the National Skills Commission such as health, social assistance, transport, warehousing, manufacturing and retail, although this is also subject to discussions with State and Territory governments.
