The Australian: Disability sector ‘stressed, frustrated and pessimistic’, new report shows

National Disability Services Interim CEO Laurie Leigh said it was worrying that only a quarter of providers believe the reforms that are underway to further develop the NDIS, are heading in the right direction.

“It’s important something is done now to correct these issues, because it’s been a difficult year for disability service providers and most expect 2022 to be worse,” she said.

Both Laurie Leigh and Kate MacRae from Able Australia are quoted in the article, which coincided with the release of the State of the Disability Sector Report for 2021.
