ABC: COVID vaccines 'strongly recommended' for disability workers, but advocates say they should be mandatory

Today, the PM announced the COVID vaccine would not be mandated for disability support workers. ABC spoke to Karen Stace, Senior Manager - State and Territory Operations after the announcement.
NDS continues to advocate for mandating the vaccine, with Karen saying "Disability service providers are rightfully anxious that the virus could needlessly take hold within our communities and we hope the government reconsiders this decision, in addition to implementing an effective education campaign and strategies to improve vaccine access and rollout."
