Public consultation on Tasmania's Disability Inclusion Bill has been launched and will run until Monday 18 September. Coming out of a government review of the Tasmanian Disability Services Act 2011, the Bill aims to project a contemporary vision for a safe and inclusive Tasmania for people with disability.

In launching the draft Bill and consultation on 15 August, the Minister for Disability Services, Jo Palmer, said the new disability legislation will drive inclusion for all Tasmanians through a commitment to planning and consultation, and by taking action on national and international commitments.
