Consultation on new Worker Screening Regulations in Victoria

NDS is seeking member feedback by 2 December to help inform our response to the Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) for the recently released proposed new worker screening regulations.Â
NDIS worker screening is due to commence in Victoria on 1 February 2021.
Similar to the Working with Children (WWC) Check, the NDIS Worker Screening Check is intended to review the criminal history of people who work or intend to work with vulnerable people and prevent their employment if they pose an unacceptable risk.
