NDS welcomes the recent announcement by the McGowan Government for additional funding to be made available in 2020-21 through the WA Sector Transition Fund.

This allocation is in addition to the $20.3 million Sector Transition Funding, distributed in three phases over two years from 2018-19 which targeted workforce development and operational issues for disability service providers arising from their transition to the NDIS. Sector Transition Fund phase one grant recipients have reported positive impacts arising from their improved business systems and processes.
