New survey will help design disability leadership program

NDS in South Australia is delighted to be partnering with leadership expert, Maria Brett, in our pilot Courageous Leadership project. The project will give leaders in the SA Disability Sector a chance to advance their professional development and improve their leadership skills.

The first step is a survey of leaders in the disability sector in SA to identify their learning needs. Based on the survey results, NDS and Maria Brett will tailor a training event on Courageous Leadership in Adelaide on Wednesday 13 September.

All Disability Sector leaders are invited to participate in the online survey with Maria Brett, which will take about five minutes of your time.

This pilot project is designed for leaders at all levels within the SA disability sector. The sector needs its leaders to have the skills and mechanisms of courageous leadership to navigate complex issues and uncertain times.

With a background in psychotherapy and leadership, Maria Brett is an expert in organisational development who helps people live and lead courageously.

If this pilot program goes well, we will offer more leadership development options for the sector over the next two years.

This is an exciting opportunity for the Disability Sector in South Australia. Please participate in the survey as a first step to make this project a success.
