NSW COVID-19 update: More free rapid antigen tests available for people with disability

NDS COVID-19 News Update

Over the past few months, the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) has distributed millions of rapid antigen tests (RATs) to people with disability and their carers. This initiative has been extended to the end of January 2023. It includes non-government organisations or charities providing services to people with disability and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

As the COVID-19 emergency eases, the extension means people with disability will be supported over the holiday period.

Free RATs will be available through DCJ’s network of contracted service providers, neighbourhood and community centres, and ACNC registered charities. People with disability and their carers can also get RATs from Service NSW service centres, mobile service centres and disaster recovery centres.

The locations can be found on the NSW Government Website.

Eligible organisations can also order RATs online from DCJ as they require them until 30 January 2023.
