Held on Tuesday 23 to Wednesday 24 July in Sydney, the theme of this year’s conference is Navigating the future of Disability Employment.

Over the two-day conference, employment service providers, government officials, academics, mainstream employers, sector experts, thought leaders and people with disability will come together to discuss outcomes and opportunities arising from the:

  • NDIS Review
  • Employment White Paper

  • Parliamentary Select Committee Review of Workforce Australia
  • Ongoing DES reform agenda

Senior government officials will present on the government’s responses to the findings of these recent reviews as well as disability employment policy developments and directions – including the Australian Disability Strategy and the NDIS Participant Employment Strategy.

In addition, people with disability will highlight their employment journeys, trials and triumphs in a period of profound economic uncertainty and ongoing policy reform.
