This is the first in a series of information sessions about new Victorian legislation that impacts disability providers.

In this session you were learn about the new Disability and Social Services Regulation Amendment Act and the key changes to:

  • Restrictive practices, residential services, compulsory treatment
  • Residential tenancy in disability accommodation (including enrolled SDA, SIL homes, TAC/WorkCover/DSOA funded services)
  • Community visitors
  • Information sharing
  • Compliance requirements and offences

Please note: Two targeted information sessions are planned for Wednesday 12 June and Wednesday 26 June.

Who Should Attend?

NDS recommends that managers of Victorian disability services that provide disability accommodation, restrictive practices, residential services and compulsory treatment attend.
