Federal Budget Update

NDS has prepared a pre-budget submission for the Federal Government. NDS’s new Director of Policy and Advocacy, Emily Forrest, provides an update for members on the federal budget context and the key points in our submission: 

On 25 October 2022, Treasurer Jim Chalmers will hand down a new 2022-23 Federal Budget. This will be Australia’s second Federal Budget in 2022, owing to the 21 May Federal election and the subsequent change of government.
