This WorkSafe sponsored forum brings together key stakeholders across disability residential accommodation sector to develop practical strategies using systems thinking to address work-related violence to build high quality and safe services for all.

The forum will begin with an overview of the key finding of the systems analysis into work related violence in disability residential accommodation undertaken by Queensland University of Technology.

Following this, Dr Alan Hough will facilitate discussion that will enable these finding to be explored, actions identified that need to be implemented to improve safety for workers in residential accommodation services and ways these findings can be used to inform better safety systems within these settings.

Who Should Attend?

This forum is for everyone involved in the disabilty accommodation sector in Victoria - including regulators, funders, senior leaders, services managers, practice leaders, HSRs, and frontline workers.
