Consultations for the second stage of the review of the Disability Act 2006 (Vic) have now opened. NDS is making a submission and is eager to hear feedback from members to inform our submission.

The Victorian Government is reviewing the Act due to significant changes in the disability landscape since the introduction of the NDIS with implications for the role of the Victorian Government in disability.

The government consultation paper does not propose specific reforms at this stage. However, it raises questions around several key areas, which are relevant to NDS members. These include:
