Registrations are open for NDS's annual Disability at Work Conference 2024!

Disability at Work Conference

Held on Tuesday 23 to Wednesday 24 July in Sydney, the theme of this year’s conference is Navigating the future of Disability Employment.

Over the two-day conference, employment service providers, government officials, academics, mainstream employers, sector experts, thought leaders and people with disability will come together to discuss outcomes and opportunities arising from the:

  • Disability Royal Commission (DRC)
  • NDIS Review
  • Employment White Paper
  • Commonwealth, State and Territory Plan for supported employment
  • Parliamentary Select Committee Review of Workforce Australia
  • Ongoing DES reform agenda

Senior government officials will present on the government’s responses to the findings of these recent reviews as well as disability employment policy developments and directions – including the Australian Disability Strategy and the NDIS Participant Employment Strategy.

In addition, people with disability will highlight their employment journeys, trials and triumphs in a period of profound economic uncertainty and ongoing policy reform.
