Danielle Loizou-Lake, Project Lead: Workforce and NDIS Transition

Danielle has been working in the health and disability sectors for 20 years and is currently Project Lead for the NDS Sector Support service. Over the past few years, Danielle has lead innovative disability initiatives in the areas of assistive technology and capacity building for both participants and organisations. Danielle maintains an extensive and in-depth understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, holding areas of special interest in business operations and governance within the NDIS, operational guidelines and terms of business, assistive technology, accommodation and delivery of supports.


Melanie Richardson, Sector Development Consultant

Melanie has had extensive experience in professional management roles in the travel and land development industries, specialising in the training of communication and KPI driven sales skills. During her previous roles, Melanie became passionate about assisting people with disability to see the world and removing barriers to travel. Melanie is the parent of an NDIS participant and self manages his plan. She is a subject matter expert on the National Disability Insurance Scheme, in particular the Price Guide and its application to service delivery, Consumer Rights and Australian Consumer Law under the NDIS, review pathways, PRODA and application of functional language for optimal funding outcomes.


Leslie Hill, Sector Support Officer

 Leslie is currently working as the Project Officer for the NDS Sector Support service. She brings extensive knowledge of employment for      people with disability and. Over the past 20 years, Leslie has lead a variety of projects in this area which have led to successful outcomes in the sector. Prior to this, Leslie spent several years working as a Social Trainer to support people in accommodation. Leslie’s experience has resulted in a passion for skills growth and housing in the disability sector.
