"Serious failure" in COVID-19 response, says Royal Commission report

The Disability Royal Commission has released its report on the experiences of people with disability during the COVID-19 pandemic, finding a "serious failure" in the lack of consultation by the Australian Government and its agencies during the early stages of the pandemic.
The report also notes the impact of casualisation, and the inadequate quality of some guidance provided to service providers by the Department of Health and NDIS Commission.
