The RC today heard of a letter which threatened the abuse of a resident of a government-run home.

Evidence was heard from the guardians of ‘Mitchell’, who lives in accommodation run by the South Australia Department of Human Services (DHS). They spoke of growing hostility from some staff over the four years Mitchell lived in the house, with a site manager eventually moved to a new role.
