RC hears from Disability Employment Service provider on case study
25/02/2022
Day Two: A former manager gave evidence on behalf of AimBig and its sister company, Rehab Management. The witness was responsible for developing and overseeing the barista training program, BusyBeans.
Questions included if BusyBeans resulted in demonstrated long-term benefits, the impact of reducing Mzia's hours on her mutual obligations requirements, and whether the organisation's complaints policies and procedures were followed.
The RC asked why there was no training material available for Mzia to use at the outset of the BusyBeans program. The witness said initially a 'hands-on' approach was preferred, but they later realised training material was necessary, and incorporated material Mzia had developed.
