Sector Support WA
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a major social reform that has changed the way Australians with disability receive funding for the supports they need with daily living, to engage in the community, and to undertake employment.
Under the NDIS, funding is allocated to a person with disability to choose the supports they need to meet their plan goals. Disability service providers need a strategic, whole-of-organisation approach to ensure operations can be delivered effectively within a financially sustainable model in this changing service environment.
NDS is here to assist:
The Sector Support WA service is funded by the West Australian Government’s Department of Communities to provide NDIS transition support to registered NDIS service providers. In the first year of operation, the WA-based team responded to 640 NDIS transition-related queries from over 100 organisations.
On this page, you will have access to the Sector Support service, including: events, training, resources, up-to-date NDIS news and pathways for customised support.
The Sector Support team is available every day (WST) to support you and your organisation to operate within the NDIS.
