Online client management system iplanit eases NDIS transition
Despite this, organisations have continued to provide services to clients while operating with low or no cash reserves and without regular claims from the NDIS via myplace. These stressors have placed undue pressure on workers and management, unnecessarily straining the service sector.
Existing electronic systems with links to the NDIS portal have eased the frustration and confusion around myplace for many providers. These systems include iplanit, a client management system offered through NDS to service providers, which has worked with NDIS customers to develop a work-around for myplace. The latest research from Curtin University and NDS indicates that 71 per cent of disability service providers are expecting increases in client numbers under the NDIS. With the burgeoning disability services market just taking off, many service providers are starting to look to systems that can assist them to manage large numbers of participants with multiple NDIS goals and complex funding.
The emerging issue for service providers is finding a way to manage plans, funding and daily activities for the large number of people coming into the scheme. Iplanit has allowed these service providers to continue to make bulk claims for services delivered, despite the system failing at other points.
Iplanit is offering a webinar on managing clients under the NDIS, from the referral of clients through service delivery, funds management and NDIS claims. You can register for the webinar here.
