NDS encourages employers to widely promote the DHHS-funded Workforce Scholarships and the Ethel Temby Research Grant Program to their staff.

Along with DHHS staff, those employed by community service organisations funded by DHHS are eligible. In previous years, non-government staff have been significantly under-represented in the application process.

Disability workforce scholarships contribute or cover the course fees of undergraduate or postgraduate courses that lead to a qualification.
