The 2024 NDS Workforce Census data collection has now been completed and the survey findings will be published on 5 June at NDS’s Virtual Workforce Conference.

The NDS Workforce Census data collection is a unique resource for the disability sector.

Are you a disability service provider wondering how your workforce compares to others operating in the market?

The NDS Workforce Census data collection is a unique resource for the disability sector.  Unlike ABS workforce data collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics which uses outmoded classifications, Workforce Census has been developed within the industry to deliver you real, practical and timely data. Since September 2015, NDS workforce surveys have collected data at a national and state and territory level for Disability Support Workers and Allied Health Workers, and provided insights on a variety of issues crucial to the developing sector.

Over 300 organisations enter data in the Workforce Census survey each year. Questions can be downloaded in advance to assist your HR or finance team member to quickly compile the data and easily complete the survey.

Data is collected in March and April for the period ending 31 December.
