The NDS State of the Disability Sector Survey has now closed for 2023. Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey, it is our major tool to capture your views on the state of disability policy and the operating environment.

The results of the State of the Disability Sector survey will be published in the annual NDS State of the Disability Sector Report, to be released at NDS’s Executive Leaders Conference in Melbourne on 11-12 December 2023.

The report is extensively referred to by the media, government, and key players in our sector. The State of the Disability Sector Report helps inform our advocacy in a way no other industry survey does.

Independent analysis and reporting

The State of the Disability Sector survey analysis and reporting is conducted independently by the Centre for Disability Research and Policy at The University of Sydney, led by Professor Jennifer Smith-Merry and her research team.

Next survey

The next State of the Disability Sector survey is planned for August to September 2024.
