Responding to COVID-19: Lessons from 2020 recorded seminar

Reads: NDS COVID-19 Webinar series

In February 2021, NDS ran a national interactive zoom seminar reflecting on how we can reset disability services in 2021 and build upon the lessons of 2020 during the COVID-19 response.

This seminar, chaired by NDS's CEO David Moody, includes presentations from consultants, Graeme Kelly and Yumi Stamet, who each undertook reviews of the Victorian experience of COVID-19. Graeme Kelly's presentation examines the impact across the Victorian disability sector, whilst Yumi Stamet's presentation focuses on workforce implications.

Providers from Victoria, NSW and Queensland then provided short reflections on how they are building on the lessons from this past year.

Key benefit points

  • Understand the broad workforce impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Hear how other providers are making changes based on their experiences in 2020
  • Reflect on the experience of the disability sector during the COVID-19 pandemic

Who is this for?

This seminar will be of interest to all providers looking to learn from the lessons of responding to COVID-19 and to build back better into the future.

Seminar running time: 1:42:32
