The Department of Social Services has released the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Code of Conduct discussion paper. The Code of Conduct will be a vital part of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework. NDS will respond to the discussion paper and welcomes your input.
The discussion paper is in two parts:
The Code of Conduct will cover all workers providing services under the NDIS - those working for registered NDIS providers and unregistered providers. As such, it must clearly outline the expectations for people delivering NDIS supports and services while reflecting the core values and principles of the National Standards for Disability Services.
