WA Government releases the Community Partnerships Roundtable Communique for May 2021

The WA State Government has published the communique from the Community Partnerships Roundtable, held on 5 May 2021.
WA State Manager, Julie Waylen, represents NDS at the Roundtable which connects the community services sector and the Department of Communities to identify better ways of working together for the benefit of Western Australia.
Highlights of the communique include:
- Development of a framework to collate and analyse data to make evidence-based decisions, including service demand, unmet community need and allocation of financial resources
- Progress in the priority focus areas of commissioning of services and service integration
- Discussion surrounding the need to support partnerships with other Government agencies to share existing sources of data
- Acknowledgement of the need to leverage innovation and different ways of doing business, in addition to consideration of increased funding, to achieve community outcomes.
