The Western Australian Government is providing 20 free rapid antigen tests (RATs) per person for people with disability and for disability support workers. The Department of Communities (Communities) is coordinating distribution Statewide in partnership with the Department of Health and Foodbank.

Disability Service Providers can order RATs on behalf of their support workers and/or people with disability they support.

Orders can be made by completing the online Order Form on the RATs for the Disability Sector page on the WA Government website.

People with disability can access 20 free RATs per person if they receive any of the following supports:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • State Continuity of Support arrangements
  • Disability Support Pension

Disability support workers can access 20 free RATs per person if:

  • they are employed by a disability service provider, or
  • they are a self-managed NDIS participant.

For more information on eligibility, collection site locations, the accessible request form and how to access other ordering supports see RATs for the Disability Sector on the Department of Communities’ website.
