  • The Premier of Tasmania has announced that it will reopen borders on 15 December
  • Mandatory vaccination for disability workers was announced as part of the state's safe border reopening plan
  • Disability workers will be requested to have their first dose by mid to late November
  • NDS will provider further information as it becomes available

As part of a press conference about the reopening of Tasmania's borders, Premier Peter Gutwein announced that vaccinations will become mandatory for disability workers.

The Premier said the first dose will be requested by mid to late November. NDS will provide further information as it becomes available.

Tasmania's borders are set to reopen on 15 December. The announcement followed advice and modelling by the Kirby Institute.
