Sydney Morning Herald: Disability services hit by COVID furloughs as cases rise

National Disability Services chief executive Laurie Leigh said high case numbers were “putting significant strain” on disability services, with many staff either COVID-positive or required to isolate.
A survey of 700 Australian Services Union members found 12 per cent of NDIS workers had contracted COVID-19 since November, half of them through exposure at their workplace, and a further one in three had to isolate after being deemed a close contact.
