The South Australian government has announced that it intends to gradually withdraw from the provision of supported accommodation services.

KPMG has been engaged by the South Australian Department of Human Services (DHS) to undertake consultation with the non-government sector about DHS Supported Community Accommodation. Consultation is also under way with staff and clients.

KPMG has released a survey to gather details about the non-government sector. The survey will be open until Thursday, 15 November 2018. This exercise is to gather information that will assist in achieving the government’s objectives.

While this survey has been primarily distributed to SA funded and known local organisations, non-government organisations from other jurisdictions are welcome to respond and assist in the information-gathering stage.
