SA/NT NBN Consumer Roundtable
3/07/2020
COVID-19 has highlighted the now vital role of broadband services in the everyday lives of Australians. #NoSouthAustralianorTerritorianLeftOffline is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of affordable broadband for South Australians and Territorians.
Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN) is holding a number of South Australia/Northern Territory NBN consumer roundtables over the next several months. The roundtable provides an opportunity for consumers to talk directly with NBN, and as always the voices of Australians with disability and seniors are essential in these discussions.
The roundtable will be held via videoconference;
Date: Tuesday, 7 July 2020
Time: 2:00 – 4:30pm (ACST)
Topics to be covered include:
- ACCAN will discuss our current consumer advocacy work, including the very important work we are undertaking around ensuring that there’s No Australian Left Offline.
- The NBN Co. SA and NT team will outline their new purpose to lift digital capacity along with the progress of the NBN rollout in SA and NT and their key priorities for 2020.
- Opportunities for participants to report back on communications and NBN issues that are impacting their communities.
