The first hearing of 2020 begins in Sydney on Tuesday, 18 February, focussing on health care for people with cognitive disability.  The hearing is anticipated to run for up to two weeks.  Issues to be explored include: 

People or organisations with a special interest in the hearing (including if they are subject to evidence given at the hearing) may apply for Leave to Appear via the DRC website.Easy Read information about attending the hearing has been provided by the DRC – organisations may want to distribute this to their clients [PDF | Word]. Monday, 17 February will be a dedicated day for witnesses to become familiar with venue surroundings.A schedule of events steps out the DRC program to June 2020.
