Registrations have opened for NDS’s Regional and Remote Conference 2024 in Cairns on 9 and 10 of April. The two-day national conference will explore innovative solutions to invigorate service delivery in regional, rural and remote Australia.   

As well as addressing the issues, the conference is a chance for providers to share their rich knowledge of providing high-quality services with colleagues who understand the challenges.

• Wednesday: 8:00am to 2:00pm AEST

Networking drinks 

Included in the conference price, you are invited to the complimentary networking function on Tuesday afternoon, which will be a chance to reflect on the day’s sessions and catch up with your colleagues.

Call for papers 

NDS invites presentations, poster abstract submissions, video submissions and stories of best practice to help shape the conference program.  

We'd love to hear from providers who have found innovative solutions to issues facing rural, regional and remote disability service providers. If you a provider with a story or solution-based practice to share, we want to hear about your work to drive your organisation into the future.

Submit an abstract of up to 300 words and contribute to this year's program. Poster and video extracts will also be accepted and can be sent to Events at NDS: submit enquiry/feedback. A programming committee will review and shortlist submissions.

Submissions close at 11:59pm AEDT on 20 February.
