The Department of Social Services has commenced the second stage of consultations on the new National Disability Strategy and is seeking feedback and ideas on how the new Strategy can deliver better outcomes for all people with disability. This is an important opportunity for the sector to influence disability policy over the next decade and NDS is seeking your input to inform our submission.

The National Disability Strategy position paper proposes some important ways in which a new Strategy can build and improve on the current Strategy. It explores the core components of the existing Strategy that are working well and additional elements to be adopted as part of the new Strategy to enhance outcomes for people with disability.
