Prepare for NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission transition

On 1 July the quality and safeguards obligations for all providers of NDIS supports will come under the jurisdiction of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission). Registration has previously been through the NDIA with arrangements with a range of commonwealth and state agencies for accreditation requirements. The move to the NDIS Commission will bring in nationally consistent requirements for all services offered to NDIS participants.

From 28 February, the Tasmanian government will not be accepting new applications for the following registration groups against their quality and safeguard standards:
