NDS is pleased to announce the results of the 2019 Northern Territory Committee election. The results from the NT Election saw all NT committee Members retain their positions. The full State Committee for the year 2019-20, is as follows:• Annie Rily; CEO of Carpentaria / NDS Chairperson • Nadia Lindop; CEO of MJD Foundation / NDS Vice Chairperson • Tony Burns; CEO of HPA – Helping People Achieve • Terry Cleary; Executive Manager Community Support and Access of Anglicare NT • Stephanie Ransome; CEO of NT Friendship and Support • Peter Kay; CEO at CASA • Kim McRae; Tjungu Team Leader NPY Women’s Council • Lawson Broad; CEO of Somerville • Steve Vitone; CEO of Carers NT • Robyne Burridge; Life Member of Integrated disAbility ActionTony Burns stepped down as Chairperson after two years in the position. He was successfully renominated to continue to sit on the NT committee. We thank Tony for his service as NT Chairperson and representative on the National NDS Board and look forward to continuing to work with him on the NDS NT Committee. Annie Rily was nominated and accepted the position to NDS NT Chairperson. Annie Rily commenced as CEO of Carpentaria in June 2017, following her position as the Senior Director for the Northern Territory Government's Office of Disability. Annie brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the disability sector. Annie has a strong interest in achieving positive outcomes for people with disability while developing high-quality, contemporary direct service models. We welcome her to the position.NDS congratulates those elected and looks forward to working with them during this coming year.
