Do you have a colleague who deserves a little extra recognition? Nominate them today!

The carecareers Workmate of the Year award celebrates the quiet achievers in our sector by recognising the unassuming, salt-of-the-earth champions who make life better for their colleagues and people they support.

Since nominations opened earlier this week, we’ve already seen an impressive number of nominees who are currently listed on the Workmate of the Year Wall of Fame page

Last year, tens of thousands of people cast their vote for the Workmate of the Year – and we expect an even stronger response this year. The awards are a simple yet powerful way to recognise employees, while also offering employers a great team-building activity that’s absolutely free.

We’re now looking for nominations of people who:

  • Deliver outstanding support
  • Go the extra mile
  • Are a pleasure to work with
  • Make their workplace a better place

If you know someone who fits the above criteria, help them get the recognition they deserve by nominating them today. Nominating is easy – you just need to provide few details and a photo of your special workmate.

Nominations close on 28 August. The finalists for Workmate of the Year will appear on our Facebook page shortly after, with voting open for the winning workmate. The national winner and their nominator will be announced on Monday, 24 September, and they will both win an iPad.

For the opportunity to recognise someone who is making a real difference in our sector - and a chance at a great prize - get your nominations in now!
