WA Disability Support Awards 2024

1/02/2024

There is still time for people with disability to nominate staff and teams demonstrating excellence, passion and commitment.

The deadline for the WA Disability Support Awards 2024 nominations has been extended until 5:00pm AWST on Wednesday 7 February.

We encourage WA disability service providers to support people with disability to nominate outstanding staff or teams who provide the highest standard of support.

A successful, vibrant and diverse disability sector is vital, so people with disability can fully participate in the community. Through recognising and celebrating the contribution of Western Australians who demonstrate excellence, passion and commitment in supporting people with disability, the awards play an important role in attracting and retaining workers with the right skills, values and attitudes.

There are seven categories in 2024 and you’ll find a nomination guide and form on the NDS WA Disability Support Awards webpage.

The winner of each category will be announced at our Gala Dinner at the Crown Perth on Saturday 18 May. As well as their award, winners receive $2000.

More than 600 people from across the state’s disability sector will attend this industry night of nights. They include service providers and their staff, people with disability, government officials and VIP guests.

Save the date and take advantage of early-bird prices by registering today.

Thanks to Lotterywest, there are a several tickets for people with disability to attend. Express your interest by filling in the form. Please note that people with disability who made or supported a nomination will be given priority for Lotterywest-funded tickets.
