New ILC grant round aims to boost employment for people with disability

The NDIA has announced a new Information, Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) grant round, aimed at boosting employment opportunities for people with disability.

The funds, which total $19.8 million, are available for developing innovative and evidence based models aimed at enhancing employer knowledge and building the capacity of people with disability to gain and retain employment.

The grant round is designed to prepare the sector for the implementation of the ILC Investment Strategy which will roll out later in 2019. A key priority of the strategy is to build the capacity of people with disability to be economically engaged in their communities through employment.
