NDS is pleased to announce that Jo Huxley will join us as our new ACT Manager.

Jo joins NDS having most recently worked in the sector with Koomarri. She has previously held positions in several member-based organisations including Mental Health Australia and has an excellent understanding of the role of a peak body and the importance of member and sector engagement.

Jo brings a deep understanding of the issues facing our members and the sector in the ACT. She also brings excellent media and communications skills, as well as government and sector networks.

NDS would like to take this opportunity to thank Kerrie Langford who has been supporting ACT members and the sector as ACT Manager along with her role as Head of Employment. Kerrie provided outstanding leadership to the ACT sector, particularly as providers, government and people with disabilities managed the COVID-19 outbreaks that occurred in 2022. Kerrie will continue as NDS Head of Employment.

Jo will commence with NDS on 18 July 2022 and will also attend our ACT Disability Sector Quarterly Forum on Wednesday, 6 July. This will provide a great opportunity for Jo to connect with the sector prior to her starting in the role.
