NDS invites providers to join the Training Providers Community of Practice in WA. It covers both accredited and non-accredited training.

A Community of Practice is a group of people that share a concern or passion for something they do, and who work together to learn how to improve their practice.

The aims of this Community of Practice are to:

  • Strengthen and encourage communication and collaboration between disability service organisations and RTOs;
  • Provide a forum and support for training providers across the sector;
  • Facilitate the exchange of practices and strategies amongst different organisations; and
  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge regarding available training options.

At the recent State Conference, there was considerable discussion about how to ensure a skilled workforce in an NDIS environment. This Community of Practice aims to take this discussion forward.

If you already participate in the Training Providers Community of Practice, there is no need to re-register your interest.

The next meeting of this Community of Practice will be held on 1 November 2017. If you wish to join this group, please email .
